Winter Red Sangria

Winter Red Sangria

This surprises even the sangria traditionalists among us (ourselves included!) It comes together in just minutes and has a nice balance of flavors from the warm Chai Masala, bright orange and fruity, peppery wine. 

Ingredients:

4 oz. red wine (Tempranillo, Rioja, Zinfandel or Merlot work well) 

¼ tsp. Down the Road Spice Co. Chai Masala

1 tsp. simple syrup

1 round orange slice 

Ice (optional)

Preparation: 

  1. Combine wine, Chai Masala and simple syrup into a glass. Stir well until the masala and syrup are dissolved. 
  2. Add the orange to the glass and gently muddle. 
  3. Add ice, if desired, and serve!
